Christmas Wild Wreath-Making Workshop, Burleigh Court Hotel, Stroud, 27 Nov – 11 Dec

It’s going to be a Christmas Wonderland filled with the scent of foliage eucalyptus at this lovely workshop. Let your creativity take over as you learn how to make a wild Christmas wreath with expert Sharon Jackson. Get a preview of her beautiful work here. Contemporary Eco Wreath Making, New Brewery Arts, Cirencester, 27 November

Join High Moon Florist for a festive Christmas wreath making workshop with a difference (sooo COP26 this one). The crafty New Brewery Arts hub in the heart of Cirencester is the place, and you’ll create your own glorious eco and sustainable moss-based wreath on a reusable hoop. There are two, two hour sessions on the 27th to choose from and all materials will be supplied.

Christmas Wreath-making, Daylesford Farm, Glos, 12 Nov

Pimp up your door with this festive workshop at Daylesford. Expert florists will show you how to make seasonal wreaths and garlands using natural foliage and blooms foraged from the Daylesford farm. Weather permitting it includes a guided tour of the organic Cutting Garden at Daylesford, where you gather blooms and other natural materials to incorporate into floral designs. Please bring your outdoor shoes, boots and coats, just in case of rain. £135 per person.

Christmas Wreath Workshop, Garden at Miserden, Stroud, 02, 04, 05 December

The Club Room in Miserden is the place for green fingers this Christmas, you can create your own wreath with Jo Copsey from Aqua Flowers. Well known for her beautiful floral wedding displays, Jo will teach you the techniques of building a stylish door wreath. Using a sustainable moss base and seasonal foliage from the glorious Miserden woodland add your own touches with a choice of luxury ribbons, dried fruits, pine cones and cinnamon sticks as you create your own bespoke festive wreath to take home. Tickets cost £70.

Festive Wreath-making with Afternoon Tea, Ellenborough Park, Cheltenham, 21 Nov – 20 Dec

Donna Beaver from the Flower Studio has dressed Ellenborough Park each Christmas, so if you’d like to make a traditional wreath with a stylish twist book in tfor this. This wreath-making masterclass starts with a glass of mulled wine and festive afternoon tea, Donna will then help you create a show stopping wreath for your front door. Sounds like fun. Tickets cost £75 per person.

Christmas Wreath and Garland Workshop, Covent Garden Academy of Flowers, Chipping Campden, 28 November – 17 December

Whip up a wow-factor wreath or garland at this workshop led by experienced tutors. You will create and decorate your own stunning natural wreath made from seasonal spruce, natural materials and foliage. There will be plenty of  gorgeous decorations to choose from to adorn your wreath, ranging from dried fruits and cones to berries and ribbons. The class lasts three hours and costs £115.

Christmas Wreath Workshop, Bloomery, Broadway, dates throughout Nov & Dec

This workshop is great if you are a total newbie to wreath making. You’ll be guided through weaving your own willow ring to create the base, wire the seasonal foliage in your own stunning design, before adding berries, dried fruit, pine cones and a bow. Add a relaxing lunch at the lovely Potting Shed restaurant (Dormy House Hotel) to your workshop too why not.

Create Your Own Wreath Workshop, Hopmarket Flowers, Worcester, 25 Nov – 02 Dec

Head to Worcester for this one, and watch as the experts demonstrate how to make a wreath before creating your own, while you enjoy a glass of mulled wine, with foliage, berries and more. No previous experience necessary. Costs £45.

This lovely wreath making kit is almost good enough to eat. It comes with an easy to use step-by-step guide to follow and includes a 12-inch wire frame, wire, moss, seasonal foliage such as eucalyptus and pine, and then diviine smelling cinnamon, chunky dried fruit slices and topped off with a ribbon colour of your choice. All you need is a pair of snippers. Kits will be delivered from Sat 28 November and cost £30.

Order a gorgeous wreath-making kit from indie boutique Petal & Pad, collect from the boutique and you’ll have a hand-made statement wreath of dreams in a jiffy. The kit comes with everything you need including a 12-inch frame, wire, fragrant foliage such as spruce and eucalyptus, rustic birch twigs, holly and ivy and some delicious smelling cinnamon sticks. Finish it off with one metre of your choice of Berisford velvet ribbon. Oh, and there’s also a Christmas treat inside each box too. And these guys have thought of everything – you’ll get instructions and a link to a video tutorial to help you along the way. Costs £45. But be quick! They are selling out fast.
