Now an international fitness and nutrition consultant, her aptly-named Train Like a Woman and SprinTone8 HIIT programme is a brilliantly-accessible, and time-efficient workout that covers, cardio, strength, flexibility and mobility training.
The workouts all take place over Zoom and can be sent recorded if you miss a sesh. Her method teaches women how to execute perfect form with each and every exercise which is key to muscle adaptations. The exercises are multi-dimensional, working the larger muscle groups as well as the deep stabilizing muscles, getting to the core of the abs and every other muscle, especially those “mummy bits” we all dread. After just a few short sessions you will honestly feel tight, toned, smaller and firmer.
Classes use light to medium weights, resistance bands and a kettlebell, but if you don’t have them to hand don’t sweat. Muddy Ed Sophie took a class (*genuinely one of the most enjoyable I’ve ever done*) and grabbed whatever I had in the kitchen at the time! We LOVE that the programme is said to burn more fat off your body in 11 minutes than running on a treadmill for two hours.
