West Midland Safari Park
West Midland Safari Park is home to some of the world's most beautiful & endangered exotic species - a top day out with animals, adventure and adrenalin
The award-winning West Midland Safari Park has 1700 magical animal encounters and four miles of safari, home to Indian rhino, cheetah, lion, tigers, giraffe and elephants, including a recent and incredibly cute pop-ups from a newborn rhino born in 2020 amongst others.
As this is a self-drive safari, you can travel round in your own vehicle and even get the chance to feed some of the animals. What’s more, you can drive through as many times as you wish. Alternatively, if you prefer to be driven, then you can even book a guided minibus tour for an extra charge.
There’s also a Discovery Trail showcasing Lorikeet Landing, where you can get up close and personal to amazing lorikeets and even try your hand at feeding them for a small extra charge.
Other big hits are Penguin Cove, Sea Lion Shows, Twilight Cave, Aquarium, Reptile House, Creepy Crawlies and friendly animal encounters galore. The African Village is situated by the lakeside and is where Meerkat Mayhem and Walking with Lemurs can be found. Whilst the Adventure Theme Park has a host of fun rides and attractions to suit all members of the family (at an extra charge).
And the bonus ball? All paying visitors arriving by car get a second ticket to come back again for free! Opening times vary throughout the year so make sure to check ahead before you go.
