Step into one of the most beautiful castles in England for a top day out. Sudeley Castle near Cheltenham is a brilliant visit whether you are a history buff wanting to immerse yourself in its tales, or a nature-lover with its magnificent grounds.

With a claim to fame of being the only private castle in England to have a queen buried in the grounds – Katherine Parr, wife of King Henry VIII, lived in the castle – it’s a truly fascinating place with 1000 years of history to explore.
