Love a cocktail or three? Then prepare to be wowed! The Alchemist is like no other cocktail bar and restaurant. This cool laboratory of libations at the Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham dispenses creative cocktails and delicious all day dining with a twist.

Master mixologists are on hand to magic up the most theatrical tipples you’ve ever seen, from a Cherry Poppins which comes with a bubble of cherry fog to a Dead Red Zombie, which is quite literally smokin, or the Rum Punch which arrives on fire. There’s also an extensive menu of mocktails, wines, beers and Champagne, but whatever you’re in the mood for, drink-making is an art here, all served up in all manner of cool vessels.

The devilishly good drinks menu is accompanied by an all day dining menu that wil take you through from breakfast to dinner. Expect classic dishes with a worldwide and Alchemist twist, from a Hot Honey Chicken Burger or Panko Halloumi Flatbread to the Brulee Vous Liquid Dessert, or tuck into the far-from-mundane vegan menu. Keep your eyes peeled too for regular cool pop ups, from the Cosmic Supper Club (a Cosmic Oyster cocktail + 3 small plates for £20) to Margarita Month.
