<p>If artisan crafted, one-off pieces are your thing, you need to set the sat nav for <a href="https://moochcotswolds.co.uk">Mooch The Cotswolds</a>. This inspiring little boutique in the heart of Chipping Campden opened its doors just over a year ago and it&#8217;s a honey pot of fabulous finds. </p>

<p>Owner Emma Sinclair has brought her love for travel all over the world and combined it with old fashioned &#8216;slow living&#8217; values inspired by her Yorkshire-born granny. The result? An emporium selling curated, sustainable and sultry homewares, gifts and accessories, inspired by Cotswolds flora and fauna &#8211; and hand-crafted in Jaipur by independent artisans.</p>

<p>So much to love about this amazing shop in Stow. Every month there&#8217;s a different curation of incredible small brands showcasing their fabulous products, many of which are handmade. A great place for mooching around, and you always end up buying something you never knew you needed. I love the vibe and feel of the shop and that it gives small businesses a platform to thrive and be seen.</p>

<p>I live and work in Chipping Campden and I love it here, every day feels like a privilege! The town has a brilliant local community and is a real working town. Huxley&#8217;s is right opposite my shop! So I can quite often be found on the terrace with an Aperol in hand or in winter snuggled inside with their extra special hot chocolate. It&#8217;s a great, family run café and brasserie set in a charming 500 year old building and has so much character. There&#8217;s a great buzzy atmosphere all year round, oh, and I&#8217;m a big fan of the cinnamon buns and homemade cookies.</p>

<p>A visit to this light trail at Sudeley Castle is one of my favourite things to do in the winter. I have gone here with three generations now and they have all loved it equally. The castle gardens are beautifully illuminated and turned into a Magical Wonderland &#8211; this year it&#8217;s The Sleeping Beauty. I always love to meander sipping a mulled wine to get me in the festive spirit. You must book tickets in advance online as they sell so fast. A really great night out to get you in the festive spirit.</p>

<p>This is my go-to for beautiful, sustainable shopping. It&#8217;s an online store with pop ups across the Cotswolds, as well as&nbsp;a gorgeous curation inside Burford Garden Centre.&nbsp;Owner Sophie Golden sells new, or almost new, recycled designer pieces, challenging the fast fashion industry. I love the ethics around this, and Sophie has a fabulous eye for the greatest finds. I absolutely love watching her Stories on Instagram to see what’s new each week!</p>

<p>I adore this place, it is a great day out for everyone especially my children and Benji, our dog. I adore it year round, it is home to some of the world’s most beautiful and rare trees, shrubs and bamboos spread across 60 acres. I love to visit and soak up the spring flowering bulbs, spectacular Japanese flowering cherries, and as Autumn approaches the total colourful feast for the senses. I bring my kids and we do the family hunts on the way round, which they love.</p>

<p>Only open for 10 days a year these fields are incredible. Walking through the acres of stunning delphinium flowers in full bloom, you literally just lose yourself in the beauty of the place. The petals are handpicked and dried outside to preserve their natural colour and shape, allowing them to biodegrade as naturally as possible and then harvested to become fabulous wedding confetti. It&#8217;s a yearly ritual for me, and you get the best selfies here &#8211; it&#8217;s official!</p>

<p>This place does most amazing caramel macchiatos I have ever tasted. A really fabulous family run coffee shop set in the 18<sup>th</sup> Century ‘Old Silk Mill’ on Sheep Street. I can easily spend far too long in here just chilling and drinking coffee. It&#8217;s a really popular place with cyclists who can ride straight up to it.  If you try anything make it the doorstep bacon sandwich and&nbsp; avocado on toast with balsamic vinegar &#8211; both delicious.</p>

<p>Without a doubt this is my favourite street in the world, a place full of edgy boutiques, independent designers, and mind-blowing street art. I love finding new treasures from shops here from designers just starting out in life. Both sides of the road are filled with must-sees. My favourite route is to start with a coffee and macaron at <a href="https://www.nadege-patisserie.com">Nadege</a> (a wonderful French café) bordering Trinity Bellwoods Park, and walk the 3km along Queen St West, meandering each side of the road until you reach the centre – absolute heaven.</p>

<p>Everyone should visit this place at least once in their lifetime! 70 acres of lavender with some 350,000 plants. There are trails to walk and places to relax and picnic in amongst the fields, another Instagram paradise! You can visit the distillery to see how the lavender oil is extracted so that it can be used in their products. It is only open for 6 weeks a year, mid June to early August, and gets busy so make sure to book.</p>

<p>This is one of my favourite Cotswold walks. Starting from my home in Chipping Campden I walk up through the town and start the ascent up to the top, stopping at various points on the way to look behind me at the wonderful views of Campden. The views on a clear day of the Malvern Hills is stunning. I highly recommend it as a walk for the whole family, including dogs, and if you are lucky enough to visit during Bluebell season the woods are a sight to behold.</p>
