Calling all culture-loving families: this is your cue to swap Peppa Pig for something a lot more magical. The legendary Three Choirs Festival – the world’s oldest classical music festival – hits Gloucester Cathedral this summer from 25 July – 1 August.

In store is a packed programme of music, theatre and brilliantly inventive family events; storytelling, songs, silliness and Shakespeare with a wink.

Set against the soaring Gothic backdrop of Gloucester Cathedral, the family-friendly festival has been bringing world-class music and culture to the city for more than 300 years. Expect pop-up performances, open rehearsals, street buzz and plenty of reasons to make a day of it.
