<p>Visit the stunning 15th century library here and absorb the atmosphere in this rarely seen space. The soundtrack to your visit will be a unique piece of music inspired by the history of the building. There will be a short time to ask questions of the expert guides and the archivist whilst you are in the library.</p>

<p>In 1903 Beatrix Potter published one of her most loved tales, The Tailor of<br>Gloucester and you guessed it &#8211; it was inspired by a visit she made to the city. This fascinating, free guided walk takes in the places of Gloucester which are closely connected with Beatrix Potter.</p>

<p>Go a long to this Open House experience to look inside the beautifully restored auditorium at The Everyman Theatre. There are 300 places and there&#8217;s no need to pre-book. <h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-the-wilson-art-gallery-and-museum-workshop-the-history-of-cheltenham-in-7-people">THE WILSON ART GALLERY AND MUSEUM, Workshop: The History of Cheltenham in 7 People</h2>



<p>This fun, free workshop creates a short performance about the history of Cheltenham based on 7 key local figures. Bring the characters to life using sets, props, costumes and instruments, as you produce a fun and exciting performance that parents can watch, all presented on the beautifully designed stage. Don’t like acting? <p>The intriguingly unfinished Gothic Revival estate,&nbsp;<a href="https://www.soglos.com/tag/woodchester-mansion-and-park/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Woodchester Mansion</a>, is hosting guided and self-guided tours on Fri 13 September.  Children will love looking high and low for stone-carved creatures and learning all about the building&#8217;s colony of rare bats.</p>

<p>Worcester Cathedral is filled with the times and lives of Monumental Women, from artists, writers, and musicians to maternal rights activists, powerful medieval Queens, and influential figures in the history of Christianity, spanning over 1400 years. A guided tour of the women connected to, and memorialised at, Worcester Cathedral. The Monumental women tour is a guided tour around the Cathedral that lasts approximately an hour and is given by one of our Cathedral tour guides.</p>

<p><br>Join this fascinating guided tour exploring the marks left by those who built it and those who worshipped and visited here from the Middle Ages to the present day. A guided tour of the graffiti both inside and outside the Cathedral building lasts approximately one hour and 15 minutes is given by one of the official Cathedral tour guides.&nbsp;Tour is being run twice on the day at 12pm and 3pm.</p>
