<p>Someone please deliver the roomy pants! The new MICHELIN stars and Bib Gourmands are in. </p>



<p>From the latest Three-Star restaurants to a new Green star hotspot in Worcs, here&#8217;s where to make a date with a plate in and around Glos and Worcs according to the MICHELIN Guide 2025.</p>



<p>A total of <strong>1,147</strong> restaurants – including <strong>220 Starred ones</strong> – are included this year, with <strong><a href="https://guide.michelin.com/gb/en/lancashire/aughton/restaurant/moor-hall">Moor Hall</a></strong> in Lancashire leading the way as The Guide’s latest Three-Star restaurant.  From 36 new Bib Gourmands awarded for restaurants offering good food at a great price to the Green Stars for restaurants with outstanding commitment to green gastronomy.</p>



<p>Cardiff just down the road get its first ever MICHELIN Star, and Bristol has a new Star and three new Bib Gourmands. A range of cuisines are represented too, with the UK’s first-ever One-Star Greek restaurant, a Korean Star and the first plant-based restaurant to receive a MICHELIN Star.</p>

<p><em>What they say:</em> (Native) is certainly a well-travelled, nomadic kind of restaurant, having spent time operating in Essex and London before now settling here on the Worcestershire-Herefordshire border. Located on the Netherwood Estate, it offers everything you need in one place, with a restaurant to dine in, delightful kitchen gardens to wander around and bedrooms for those wishing to sample the wines and stay the night. </p>



<p>The restaurant itself is found in a charming 16th-century barn, where diners can enjoy a hyper-seasonal menu of Estate-led produce which reflects what is flourishing in the surrounding gardens, fields and forests.</p>



<p>As well as growing everything they can in their gardens, greenhouse and orchard, the team forage from the Estate, while meat is sourced from local butchers and farmers. Regenerative sources are favoured and everything is picked on the day that it is used. </p>

<p>The immersive dining experience includes a &#8216;Root-to-Shoot&#8217; weekday lunch and &#8216;Nose-to-Tail&#8217; Sunday lunch, reflecting their ethos. The sustainability and welfare credentials of ingredients is at the core of their vision, with &#8216;wild food&#8217; and game a focus. They also make syrups for their cocktails and promote British, organic, biodynamic and low-intervention wines.</p>



<p>This place is a real winner, and earns its Green star. Championing the finest seasonal produce, cooked in a simple but sumptuous style by head chef <a href="https://www.pensons.co.uk/about-chris-simpson-1">Chris Simpson</a>, they grow their our own fruit and vegetables wherever possible, and the grass-fed meat is sourced from carefully selected local butchers and farmers. Fish comes from boats in Cornwall and the South West, using sustainable fishing methods and is delivered fresh to overnight.</p>



<p>A clutch of other restaurants across <strong>Worcs</strong> get a listing in the guide, if not quite yet a star yet. </p>



<p>So if you want to feast at a more under the radar yet still so gastro-fabulous restaurant, try these; <strong>Eckington Manor, The Inn at Welland, Black &amp; Green, Russell&#8217;s, The Back Garden, MO,</strong> and <strong>Buckland Manor.</strong></p>

<p>Just a hop over the border in South Wiltshire the Pythouse Kitchen Garden is a double-winner this year, receiving both a Green Star and a Bib Gourmand. It&#8217;s currently the only restaurant in the Great Britain &amp; Ireland Guide to hold both awards simultaneously. </p>



<p><em>What they say</em>: &#8220;A truly charming place, occupying a spot within a red-brick former potting shed in a Victorian walled garden&#8230;.Unusually, vegetables take the lead here, with the protein only providing a supporting role; in a nice touch, the team can also tell you how and where the various components of your meal were grown and even when they were harvested. Some of the dishes are cooked over fire, some are designed to share, and all are great value.&#8221;</p>

<p><em>What they say</em>: &#8220;Pretty Cotswolds pubs are ten-a-penny, but few of them have cooking as delicious and as generous as this. The renovated 19th-century space is as attractive as you’d expect, but it’s the robustly flavoured, traditional British dishes that really stick in the memory. Plenty of deals and themed nights add to the appeal, like ‘steak and a pint’ for £20 on Mondays.&#8221;</p>

<p><em>What they say:</em>&#8220;The Bristol dining scene continues to go from strength to strength, with a new Star to add to its ranks in the form of this loveable little operation. It’s a brilliant example of farm-to-table dining, with Mary Wilson managing a smallholding that provides excellent ingredients for her husband Jan Ostle to work wonders with in the kitchen. </p>



<p>&#8220;With this award, Wilsons joins a select group of restaurants to hold both a MICHELIN Star and a Green Star. In the foodie Redland neighbourhood, this is a local gem that deserves to be acknowledged on a national scale.&#8221;</p>
