It's the knees-up of the century. Jubilee celebrations are taking place across a four day Bank Holiday from 02 - 05 June. Want to know where to take your tiara? Try these. From garden parties and parades to a Royal Variety Show and regatta. Spiffing!

Go to a garden party

Cowley Platinum Jubilee Village Fete, Cowley Manor, Sat 04 June, Cowley

Fancy going to the fanciest of garden fetes? Cowley Manor is hosting the village Jubilee fete, featuring a dog show, ukulele band, all-important bar with local beers and G&Ts, cream teas, BBQ and local home-made produce. Once you’ve eaten and drunk your fill visit the alpaca petting corner and alpaca wool spinning area and get stuck into kids games and toy and vintiques stalls. There is also have a best Jubilee Crown making competition with all decorating materials provided on the day. Fun kicks off at 2pm till 5pm.

Royal Picnic and Party in the Park, Pittville Pump Room, Cheltenham, 02 to 03 June

Go to Cheltenham’s largest free two day community celebration. The picnic and party in the park celebration starts on Thursday 2 June, from 6pm, with free live music from 6pm with DJ Paul Grace who will be playing sounds from across the decades of Her Majesty’s reign. Plus the beacon will be lit from the balcony of the pump room by Cheltenham mayor and the BBC will be on hand so give em a wave. On Friday bring your picnic rugs to Pittville Park where the fun starts from midday with music throughout. You can pick up a picnic from the Heritage Café which will be serving a choice of a classic picnic or a cream tea. There will also be a pop-up bar and gelato stand, jubilee cupcakes and tarts.

Family Fun Day, Sandford Park, Cheltenham, 05 June

Admission is free to this family knees-up from 11am through to 5pm. Live music will entertain you, there’s plenty of fun for the kids to do and your four-legged friend can even win a prize rosette at the dog show. There’ll be artisan food and drink stalls, local crafters and more, plus, put on your finest robes for a Royal Fancy Dress competition, and make your own crown area.

Platinum Jubilee Garden Party, Stonehouse, 05 June

Bring a chair and join the fun, on Sunday 5th June to celebrate the platinum jubilee with The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Garden Party. On from 12 noon, go along and enjoy live music, a bouncing castle, cakes and sandwiches. Tickets: £6.50 per child, £10.00 per adult.

Tewkesbury Vintage Tea Party, Tewkesbury

The perfect day for some nostalgic and vintage themed fun, go to this vintage knees-up in Tewkesbury. Enjoy vintage tea room with homemade cakes and cream teas, browse vintage themed stalls, enjoy an exciting programme of live entertainment plus traditional family games to try. The event is being opened by the “Hi de Hi” yellow coats to take you back to the 1950’s when everyone flocked to holiday camps for their annual British summer holiday. Plus enter the quiz for a chance to win a hamper (all in aid of Cancer Research).

The Royal’ish Variety Show, Sat 04 June, The Sub Rooms, Stroud

Do something a bit different at the Jubilee weekend with this brilliant show at The Subs. Proper all-round family entertainment, the show has everything from comedy and magic to hoop spinning, ventriliquism, dance and a rumoured appearance from the King (of Rock and Roll!).

Go for a posh Jubilee picnic

Big Jubilee Picnic, Daylesford Organic Farm, Sat 05 June, Daylesford

Set to be one of the hottest tickets of the summer, the Daylesford organic Market Garden will be transformed with long banquet tables and live music. Reserve your place so you can spend the afternoon grazing on sharing platters of delicious British favourites and modern international flavours, and dance under the fruit trees if the mood takes you. 12.30 – 3.30pm, cost £55 per person.

Picnic in the Rec, Tetbury, 05 June

Well ok, as close as you can get! Tetbury’s Highgrove is home to HRH the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, so head to Tetbury for a splendid afternoon tea provided by your hosts, while you listen to music from throughout the Queen’s reign, with loads of stalls and demonstrations from a wide range of community groups showcasing the best of Tetters. Tickers are £2 a person, or £5 for a family of up to 4.

Get a delicious lunch to celebrate the occasion with this special three-course lunch and an afternoon concert by the Chalford Silver Band. Doors open at 12pm for 12.30pm lunch, tickets cost £21.50 and get a complimentary cocktail too.

Do a boat trip

Jubilee Boat Regatta, Lechlade on Thames, 04 June

We all know swans come with a royal seal of approval so why not race a regal swan down the Thames! Take out a giant floating swan or flamingo for a float on Jubilee weekend and enter the small vessels race, oars at the ready now, all ages welcome.

See a Jubilee Parade

The beautiful village of Broadway knows how to put on a celebration and there’s a whole weekend of fun and festivities. It begins with a parade through the village followed by the Big Broadway Picnic on the village green and on Thursday evening, a beacon will be lit at Broadway Tower as part of the National Lighting of Beacons. Other events include a classic car display, a concert by the Avon Singers, an open-air community thanksgiving service and the Big Broadway Jubilee Lunch on Sunday.

Do a Jubilee Baking Class

Jubilee Baking Workshops, near Moreton-in-Marsh, 28 May and 04 June.

Bake these Jubilee Crown beauties in an afternoon of celebration baking in preparation for the Platinum Jubilee. Make some spiffing scones and an array of other British favourites before sitting down for afternoon tea with plenty of treats for you to take home. Class dates are Sat 28 May 2-5:30pm and Sat 4 June 2-5:30pm (all £85).
