<p>Ten minutes out of town is the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.jinneyring.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Jinney Ring Craft Centre</a>, where you can buy lovely one-offs, gifts and homewares, and watch skilled craftspeople at work – all situated in an atmospheric, 200 year-old barn.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.facebook.com/churchfieldsicecream/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Churchfields Farm Shop</a>&nbsp;with its herd of 110 dairy cows on site is also a lovely visit.</p>

<p>Lots going on if self-care is your mission, such as <a href="https://www.edenyogastudio.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Eden Yoga Studio</a> which is a great place for a relaxing yoga class. The village also has a <a href="https://www.ombersleymedicalcentre.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Medical Surgery.</a> A whole array of more practitioners can be found minutes away in Droitwich and Worcester.</p>

<p>The village is less than 10 mins away from the 40m&nbsp;<a href="https://www.riversfitness.co.uk/droitwichlido" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Droitwich Spa Lido</a>, Britain’s last remaining inland, open air saltwater pools. Revamped in 2017, the water is heated to the same temp as the Med sea (hello balmy 23°c!) and features a sun terrace, Al&#8217;s café and children’s wet play area with water cannons and fountains. </p>



<p>Young uns&#8217; and big kids alike will love the Aquaventure Park nearby at&nbsp;<a href="https://www.visitdroitwichspa.com/do/aztec-adventure/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Aztec Adventure</a>. Or, for more sedate adventures go to the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.worcswildlifetrust.co.uk/nature-reserves/upton-warren" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Christopher Cadbury Nature Reserve</a>&nbsp;15 mins away – perfect for a spot of twitching, or gliding down the river on a&nbsp;<a href="https://www.visitdroitwichspa.com/do/boat-trips-pamela-may/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">boat trip</a>. The stately National Trust owned <a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/hanbury-hall-and-gardens" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Hanbury Hall</a>&nbsp;is also close with its ornamental gardens and acres of parkland to explore.</p>



<p>Sports fans can enjoy cricket at New Road, Horse Racing at Pitchcroft and Rugby at Sixways, home to the Worcester Warriors. Visit the historic National Trust&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/greyfriars-house-and-garden" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Greyfriars’ House</a>&nbsp;in the centre of nearby Worcester and 20 mins from the stunning 18th century&nbsp;<a href="https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Croome Court</a>&nbsp;with its acres of parkland to wander.</p>

<p>Dip into the emerging artist scene at the King&#8217;s Head Pub in the heart of the village, from acoustic artists to cover bands. But for more, you&#8217;re 10 mins away from lots more action. There&#8217;s a lively calendar of events throughout the year in neighbouring Droitwich Spa, including the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.droitwichspa.gov.uk/droitwich-spa/town-events-and-festivals/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Droitwich Food &amp; Drink Festival</a>, the <a href="https://www.norburytheatre.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Norbury Theatre</a>&nbsp;or exhibitions and&nbsp;<a href="https://worcestertheatres.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">theat</a><a href="https://worcestertheatres.co.uk/">re&nbsp;</a>in Worcester where <a href="http://www.thehiveworcester.org/about-the-hive.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Hive</a> is a state of the art £30m library and arts centre.</p>

<p>Seek out the secret Ombersley waterfall! This natural feature can be found near Ombersley Cricket Ground. How to find it? Take a short walk on the public footpath, swing wide of the woodland, follow the path near the fishing pond, and after a brief scramble you’ll find a tranquil cascade &#8211; ideal for a summer picnic.</p>

<p>Very easy and highly commutable, nearby Droitwich Spa has its own mainline station meaning you can be in London in two and a half hours (fastest journey time is two hours 10 minutes). You are just a short nip to the M5, 22 miles south of Birmingham and seven miles north of Worcester.</p>
