It may seem like a drop in the ocean, but changing the way you shop can have a big impact on the environment. Step forward Designer Shalize Nicholas, based in Stroud she’s the rather inspiring owner of eco-aware clothing and homewares label, Madia & Matilda.
Creating clothes from pre-loved garments and textiles, she has bags of experience having worked under designer Greek-born fashion designer Mary Katrantzou in Paris, no less.
Each piece this funky young brand sells is made from cloth sourced from around the UK, and then hand crafted into something fabulous. Slinky dresses and chunky knits don’t come more sustainable that that we say!
