Looking for a show-stopping wedding or event venue? We’ve found just the place. Tucked away in the gorgeous village of Shipston-on-Stour is a stunning labour of love, Blackwell Grange. This isn’t just your standard, pretty converted barn wedding venue, there’s four generations of family history here dating back to 1944 (wowza) and owners Didi and Will Vernon Miller painstakingly oversaw a complete renovation of the 16th and 17th century listed farm buildings in 2016.

Now Blackwell Grange boasts a huge glass-fronted barn for wedding receptions and four gorgeously decorated cottages with ten en-suite bedrooms. Oh, and it’s a working farm too.

Weddings are held in the breath-taking Thatch Barn (yes, with thatched roof). You’ll find exposed oak beams, underfloor heating, floor uplighters and right at the front a huge open fire. After the ceremony there’s loads of gorgeous places for photos around the grounds including the iconic Moon Gate and stunning Arbour with views for miles around over The Cotswolds. What’s more? No need to worry about numbers. Blackwell Grange accommodates up to 150 people for your ceremony and up to 200 for your evening party. Glass of Champagne, anyone? Food, drink and service is provided onsite by an expert team including top chefs who use as much local produce as possible. There’s also an extensive wine, cocktail and beer list! Cheers to that.
