<p>This third generation family run farm is total catnip for your IG feed. Lavender growing started here back in 1999, today more than 40 varieties grow over 140 miles of glorious countryside and 500,000 plants. </p>



<p>At the peak of the summer it&#8217;s harvested by traditional methods before being whipped up to make the purest English lavender oil and all kinds of goodies. Until then, skip through it to your heart&#8217;s content from <strong>17 June to 5 August. </strong>Tickets can&#8217;t be pre-booked just turn up on the day. Adult tickets, peak time: £7.75, children £3.50 (under 5s go free).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Confetti Flower Field bursts into full bloom on the Wyke Manor Estate in Worcestershire for a few spectacular weeks each summer. Visit them from <strong><a href="https://www.confettidirect.co.uk/flowerfields/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">20 June to 5 July</a></strong>. Brimming with delphiniums and cornflowers flowers are grown to be harvested as 100% biodegradable confetti by the Real Flower Petal Confetti Co. Plenty of parking available on site but make sure to book ahead. Plus, watch out for the sunflower fields, in full bloom by mid-August.</p>



<p>This year there&#8217;s an even more diverse and vibrant display. Whilst the traditional delphiniums will be fewer, the fields will be alive with vivid confetti cornflowers and a new rich wildflower mix, creating a kaleidoscope of colour.</p>



<p>Plus <strong>&#8211; new for 2026 &#8211;</strong> The Confetti Flower Fields is hosting live music concerts&nbsp;from Toyah on the 27 June to Super Swedes (Abba Tribute) on the 4 July. Or see the operatic performance of <em>King Arthur</em> on 25 June ( suitable for all ages). There&#8217;ll also be a a full size ferris wheel, hot food stalls, bar (after 5pm), confetti arts &amp; crafts and a cut flower stall.</p>

<p>Flora Fields, the pick-your-own (PYO) dahlia field at Webbs, Wychbold, return this summer, showcasing an extraordinary collection of over 50+ gorgeous varieties and 1000s of dahlias in bloom. Stroll through vibrant flowers, hand-pick your favourite stems and create your own beautiful bouquet. </p>



<p>While you’re here, take a moment to relax in the Tipi, snap a picture with the iconic bright pink tractor, or treat yourself to a Prosecco picnic. Also up for grabs, floral masterclasses and private horse trailer hire.&nbsp;Watch out too for new for live events in the Tipi, set amidst the glorious dahlias. And just a short walk away, you’ll find an award-winning restaurant, garden centre, and gift shop. </p>

<p>The field will this year play host to a stunning array of wildflowers in July and August. With the ever-popular sunflowers also due to bloom in around mid-August<strong>.</strong> Climb the viewpoint bridge, follow the floral pathways, take a snap at the selfie station and soak up the views. All the while, learning a thing or two about wildflowers, bees, butterflies and conservation. </p>

<p>See stunning alliums and barrowfuls of other glorious flowers  in full bloom at the glorious Garden at Miserden over the summer. You&#8217;ll also find swatches of the prettiest magnolia, roses and many more, &#8211; it&#8217;s a sheer festival of florals. Open from 29 April.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-poppy-field-didmarton-golden-rapeseed-fields-near-cirencester">Poppy Field, Didmarton + <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DJKHXBgNYCA/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">golden rapeseed fields</a>, near Cirencester</h2>



<p>The Cotswolds surrenders the most amazing poppy fields every year in July &#8211; you just need to head out into the heart of the AONB and voilà. One place that&#8217;s usually a dead cert is Didmarton &#8211; a field that is accessible without charge, however it is a working field so the poppies will be harvested by mid-August.&nbsp; There&#8217;s a small layby just near the field for a quick pit stop there.</p>



<p>Want to skip through golden fields, and take a selfie with the perfect backdrop? Head to Jolly Nice Farm shop junction in Frampton Mansell for <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DJKHXBgNYCA/?hl=en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">gleaming golden fields</a> as far as the eye can see. It&#8217;s a glorious panorama. Afterwards go for an iced matcha at Jolly Nice Farm Shop here, it also has a drive-though.</p>

<p>Located east of Lechlade, in Abingdon, Dahlia Beach is the brainchild of insta star and former TV director, Andrea McDowell, who launched the endeavour when her wedding video business went a little during Covid. Now she’s a Chelsea Flower Show sensation thanks to the PYO dahlia business at Abingdon’s Millets Farm. </p>



<p>The PYO flower farm is open from <strong>15 August </strong>for 7 days a week, and is also the site of workshops in how to grow and arrange dahlias alongside Poggy, Andrea’s pink open top double decker bus. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-chippy-flower-farm-chipping-norton-oxon"><a href="https://www.chippyflowerfarm.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Chippy Flower Farm</a>, Chipping Norton, Oxon</h2>



<p>This two-acre plot in Little Tew is all about growing flowers sustainably and selling them in gathered buckets or loosely arranged bouquets for collection the next day. But the plan is to introduce events and workshops alongside its flower sales and subscription service. <strong>Opens between June &#8211; September.</strong></p>

<p>It might be famous for its fruit, but this friendly PYO near Oxford is also a dead cert for both sunflowers and gladioli come summer. Grab your secateurs (or hire them for £2 deposit from the farm shop) and head out into the fields to snip away to your heart’s content, with stems costing £1 each. Don’t forget to hit up the café for a slice of cake and a homemade sausage roll. Open from mid June to September.</p>
