Garden-grown goodness meets laid-back dining – this all day gastro-hub serves up seriously good, locally sourced plates from sunrise coffees to sunset suppers, with an exciting new branch opening in 2026.
Roots + Seeds Cafe & Kitchen is an all-day dining hub with three fabulous branches – The Old Kennels in Cirencester Park, the scenic waterside setting of Gloucester Food Dock, and – opening on 27 March 2026 – Far Peak, Northleach.
Headed up by foodie friends Toby Baggott and Sam Lawson-King this sustainable dining destination features a café and restaurant serving up coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch daily, and swing by in the evenings from Thursday to Sunday for a remarkable dinner experience. Culinary master Sam Idione whips up the dishes, with a focus on ‘farm to fork’. Produce is plucked fresh every morning from the kitchen garden and all other artisan produce comes from within a 25 mile radius.
The cafés have a fabulously relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and are superbly child-friendly. The Cirencester branch boasts a separate children’s breakout area full of books and crafts and a wooden outdoor play area. The new hub at Far Peak will also be open daily for coffee and bakes, breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea, with everything available to eat-in or as a Grab & Go.
