<p>The bountiful pumpkin patch at Cotswold Farm Park near Cheltenham just keeps giving, and it’s back every weekend during October and throughout the Halloween half term. Come for pumpkins galore, ghoulish carvings and pie-making. Entry to the Park gives you one pumpkin per token. Explore the pumpkin trail and choose a spooky face paint design before finding a plump one to take home for crafts and pies. Check out the impossibly cute farmyard animals taking part in Pumpkin Enrichment classes. PLUS! <strong>New for 2024</strong> are Pumpkin Nights &#8211; go pumpkin picking by moonlight!</p>

<p>Head to&nbsp;Cattle Country Park&nbsp;in Berkeley to pick a giant pumpkin from<strong>&nbsp;</strong>12 to 31 October. The Farm&#8217;s patch has got thousands of home-grown pumpkins and gourds to pick. You’ll also find pumpkin carving and decorating, marshmallow toasting and a seasonal menu in GRAZE. Join them for half term when there’ll be professional Face Painting too. Plus, check out the Pumpkin Patch photo booths for the ultimate autumn family photo. </p>

<p>The brilliant Over Farm is pumpkins-a-plenty at this time of year. PYO slots go fast so be quick. Kids, grown-ups and also dogs are very welcome.&nbsp;Open throughout October and half term. This patch is very photogenic, and you’ll have a whale of a time finding your favourite pumpkin amidst the beautiful sea of orange. Watch out for eye-catching (and somewhat hilarious) displays all over the place, a huge undercover seating area, well-stocked bar and independent food traders.</p>



<p><strong>Plus &#8211;</strong> After Dark PYO! <a href="https://www.overfarm.co.uk/pick-your-own/pumpkins-after-dark/">Pick pumpkins under the stars</a>. If you want to take your pumpkin picking experience up a notch, come for a night time Moonlight PYO session. Once you’re done in the patch, enjoy a drink at the bar and get ready for sensational fire dancing, a live music set in the roundhouse and food from carefully delicious indie traders. Hop aboard the tractor trailer too, for a hauntingly hilarious ride around Over Farm. </p>

<p>Grab your coats, it’s time to find the perfect pumpkin for this season’s festivities. Keep checking the site for the official opening day but once it opens JN has a harvest of locally grown pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, ideal for carving or making warming soups and seasonal dishes. Last year your ticket included a complimentary homemade toffee apple, grown by Fred at Close Farm Organics and covered in sweet toffee, so here&#8217;s hoping for this year. Pumpkins will be priced depending on their size.</p>

During the Pumpkin Festival, you can pick your own pumpkin, wheelbarrow it to the outdoor carving barn and choose the spookiest face before leaving all the gooey stuff at Churchfields! <p>New for 2024 is the pumpkin patch experience at this great farm, just a very short walk up from the farm café! Find 100s of pumpkins grown from seed. Entry costs £2.50 (plus booking fee) per person in advance or £3 on the day. Under 2s are free. Dogs on leads are welcome. Pumpkins are charged based on their size, but carving and a little kids craft are included with your entry.</p>

<p>Situated on the outskirts of Worcester in Powick is the The Great Worcester Maize Maze. A fun family day out run by the Colton family on their farm.&nbsp;Not only can they send hours of fun getting lost in the maze, there is now a pumpkin patch open, walk the fields with your barrow, with no booking needed or entrance fee. Not only is the Pumpkin Patch open for some great gourd foraging, but there are also special daily activities including Sweetie Paradise and their retro Pick and Mix sweets, Chair ‘O’ Plane Vintage Fair Ride for little ones, Peaky Grinder Coffee with their lovely barista coffee and a fancy dress competition will be spotting the best spooky costumes.</p>
