Twelve celebrities facing snakes, terrifying heights and choppy waters out in the wilderness as they&#8217;re chased by Bear Grylls? Nope, it&#8217;s not some crazy gin-fuelled dream, but it is the premise of&nbsp;Netflix’s extreme&nbsp;new competition series, Celebrity Bear Hunt! 



Mel B and Boris Becker are just two of the stars you probably didn’t expect to see roughing it together &#8211; let alone in a&nbsp;Costa Rican jungle, and we&#8217;re excited to hear that Glos&#8217; designer-in-chief Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is amongst the line-up. <a href="https://www.netflix.com/gb/title/81701547">Watch the trailer here.</a>



Presented by Holly Willougby, the show is out on 5 February and sees the celebs learning survival skills and joining a ruthless game of cat and mouse where they’ll be hunted down by Grylls and, if caught, face elimination from the island.

The 59-year-old Bowen, a resident of Cirencester, promises to be a brilliant watch as he swaps the world of flouncy interiors for the fierce, untamed wilderness. The flamboyant presenter famous for Changing Rooms has also appeared on shows such as&nbsp;Popstar to Operastar, The Apartment&nbsp;and&nbsp;DIY SOS: The Big Build.

Wild swimmers brace yourselves! You could soon be diving into a new, unique set of outdoor swimming pools in the Cotswolds &#8211; heated all year round by geothermal energy.



Called Stroud Waters, the plans have been submitted by <a href="https://www.facebook.com/CourtFarmKingsStanleyLonghorns/?locale=en_GB">Court Farm </a>in Gloucestershire (in King’s Stanley, near Stroud), with the vision offering a clean, accessible and safe swimming spot all year round – and with one section to be&nbsp;heated with geothermal energy, you won’t have to worry about catching a chill in the winter. The site is currently also home to The Rest café, so it looks like a top spot for a dip and flat white.

Tewkesbury &amp; Glos&#8217;s answer to Bicester Village is on the home run to opening (whoop) with both Puma and Under Armour now officially revealed as stores. Due to open now in early summer 2025, the <a href="https://cotswoldsdesigneroutlet.com/">Cotswold Designer Outlet</a> will be a short hop off Junction 9 on the M5. 



It&#8217;s launch may be pushed forward from the Spring, but we&#8217;re waiting on tenterhooks for the next reveals.



Burger lovers will be happy, burger restaurant Five Guys is already seeking staff, with lots more to come. There are said to be 55 store spaces here and currently around 75% are filled (someone dm Prada and Chloe!). Watch this space for updates soon &#8211; oh and the centre will be dog friendly too.
