<p>A brand new arrival is storming into Glos&#8217;s foodie scene &#8211; <strong><a href="http://www.lardon-restaurant.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Lardon</a> </strong>opens in June,<strong> </strong>bringing with it a punchy take on European small plates. Expect bold, wood-fired dishes, seasonal simplicity, and a menu built to share (or not).</p>



<p>Head Chef Mikey Bain leads the kitchen (ex Calcot Manor, Whatley Manor), whilst Josh Newman (ex No. 38 The Park, Lucky Onion Group) heads up front of house so it&#8217;s got a top tier team. The restaurant is the brainchild of the team behind KNEAD Bakery and Jesse Smith Butchers &#8211; John and David Hawes and Kris Biggs. Slip in for a stylish lunch or dinner and find it at Elkstone Studios, located between Cirencester and Cheltenham.</p>

<p>Cheltenham’s dining scene just got seriously chic with the arrival of<strong> <a href="https://miraricheltenham.com/philosophy/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mirari</a>,</strong> a brand new fine dining spot, serving up Basque magic in Imperial Square.</p>



<p>Tucked inside the swanky Club Ocho, this elegant newcomer serves up seasonal British produce with a distinctly Spanish soul. Inspired by Basque culinary tradition, the name itself means “miracle”, and that pretty much sets the tone.</p>



<p>At the helm is Head Chef Maisie Green, it&#8217;s something new and oh-so refined for Cheltenham. Open from 10am – 11pm Tues to Thurs and 10am – 1am Fri and Sat. </p>

But news reaches us that it&#8217;s entering whole new chapter. Previously connected to fine-dining Japanese restaurant <a href="https://www.no131.com/restaurants-bars/yoku/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">YOKU</a>, the space is now launching as a standalone bar, with entry exclusively via reservation. Bookings open from 21 April and it looks like the perfect place for a stylish night out. Gather your cocktali-loving mates now.</p>

<p>A brand new concept in wellness studios is heading to Cheltenham, with the launch of <strong><a href="https://www.kocobloom.com" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Koco Bloom</a> </strong>– a Pilates and wellbeing hub. Owner and wellness devotee Dakota is bringing together Pilates, one-to-one tuition and holistic treatments including massage, Reiki, meditation and reflexology, to create the kind of place you may not want to leave.</p>

<p>Book them in for everything from a regular groom to a full spa style treatments all tailored to each dog. It&#8217;s sustainable too, recycling dog hair through green grooming initiatives. </p>



<p>Think neon signs, a pink sofa for selfies, and a space where pups roam between cute mats and toys. You can watch the magic through a glass window, get a full&#8217; pawgress report&#8217; after, then snap a post-groom cuddle pic in the selfie mirror.</p>
