<p>Cheltenham, hold onto your scrunchies. From 14 – 19 April 2026, the Everyman Theatre is taking you back to the glory days of 1995 with the UK premiere of <em><a href="https://www.everymantheatre.org.uk/shows/the-battle/"><strong>The Battle</strong></a></em> – a riotous, razor-sharp new comedy that charts the legendary Britpop chart face-off between Blur and Oasis. Think dodgy bucket hats, headlines, and a music rivalry that split a nation.</p>



<p>And <em>Gavin &amp; Stacey</em> fans will want to book their seats pronto &#8211; because Gavin himself, actor Mathew Horne, is playing one of the leads, Andy Ross – the real-life music exec caught in the eye of the storm.</p>

<p>Cheltenham’s Montpellier has just got a whole lot tastier. Beloved Cotswolds baker <strong><a href="https://www.otisandbelle.co.uk/about">Otis &amp; Belle</a> </strong>has opened a gorgeous new location in the heart of this elegant quarter, and it’s already drawing cinnamon bun queues around the block.</p>



<p>If you’ve visited their Moreton-in-Marsh or Broadway bakeries, you’ll know the drill: slow-fermented sourdough that snaps perfectly, pain au chocolats with just the right level of goo, and glossy tarts that should probably come with a warning. Founded by Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef Will Alexander (fancy!) this is next-level patisserie. Open seven days a week, 8am &#8211; 3pm.</p>

<p>Founded by 24-year-old Lucy Pickles (yep, that’s where the name comes from- no actual pickles involved), design your own acai bowl with every superfood under the sun, or stack your toast with avocado, spicy tuna or banana and nut butter bliss. There’s cake. There’s coffee. There’s crunchy granola so good it should probably have a fan club.</p>
